scope of works
This void had suffered neglect and needed to be brought up to a lettable standard but within a tight budget. The previous tenant had fitted non standard down light fittings throughout the flat that needed to brought back in line with One Housing groups own standards. The rooms needed to be treated for mould before the flat could receive full decoration. With the budget in mind we needed to make sure the Kitchen & Bathroom conformed to H&S standards i.e. retiling above worktops refurbishing existing units fitting a new set of taps and various other minor works. A new toilet pan was fitted in the bathroom, the bath also needed to be repaired using a enamel repair kit, a new set of taps was fitted and vinyl tiles laid to floor, along with other works before receiving decorating.
The finished void was quite a transformation, considering that work was completed within 7 working days.
