The scaffolding has finally come down, and the new exterior of number 69's loft conversion is there for all to see. It is a great improvement on the previous structure and, with the improved insulation that has been installed, it will probably be much more pleasant for any resident living in the top room. Some people like to spend their lives moaning at the Council, so here is a heartfelt "well done" to show that there is another side! Given the pressures that budgets are under at present, I applaud the Council for (a) putting the work in hand and not putting it off for another year, and (b) not being tempted to go for a short-cut short-term option, going instead for a quality job.
